The process takes no more than a few minutes and is really easy to do. An impression kit with complete instructions will be sent to you in a postage paid envelope for you to return. It is IMPORTANT to use the impression kit as soon as it arrives to ensure freshness of the compound or clay.

As soon as we receive your kit, we will create your cherished keepsake. 

Turn around time is approx. 2-3 weeks from the time we receive your impression kit.  If you live local,  I will make an appointment to come to your house to obtain your impression.

NOTE:  Baby Fingerprints
If you are taking an impression from a baby under six months of age, please know that their fingerprints are not yet fully developed and well defined and will probably not be clear enough to transfer to silver as well defined prints.   We like to wait until your baby is at least 9 months old before we take an imprint.

We do make pendants using baby 'fingertip' impressions which make a lovely keepsake of a tiny finger, should you chose to capture the tiny imprint of your newborn.

While some of the definition of a good fingerprint is determined by genetics, we have found that older children do give a better print impression.

Custom Double Sided Pendant with name/initials:
Personal customization is available for the back of your pendant.  We make a double sided pendant with either your little one's initial or little one's name stamped out. We attach the personalized piece and fire onto the back of your fingerprint pendant to create a double sided pendant  (See our initial pendants for examples of what the back of your fingerprint pendant will look like should you chose this option).
